Carl Hansen & Søn's BM0489S bench presents a fresh reinterpretation of the classic table bench, designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958. Versatility is at the very heart of the attractive oak bench – known as one of the greatest Danish designers, Mogensen often created furniture that can be easily adapted to changing life situations and different needs. The short BM0489 table bench can be used in the living room as a coffee table, in the bedroom as a bedside table or in the hallway as a bench for fastening your shoes. The graceful table bench is not only suitable for many uses but also for a wide range of different interiors, from Scandinavian minimalist to slightly more maximalist. This is thanks to beautiful details: the oak frame is accompanied by a braided paper cord top and finished with skilful joinery and rounded edges.
