Payment card (debit and credit)
Pay your order safely by payment card. All transactions are processed confidentially by Adyen, which is one of the world’s leading e-commerce payment providers. The payment card details are transferred to Adyen over an encrypted SSL connection. Franckly does not access or store any payment data. We accept American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, Maestro, MasterCard (Eurocard) and Visa.
PayPal
With PayPal, you can shop without a payment card. The payment method requires a PayPal account. Pay securely with your email address and PayPal account password. You will be automatically directed to PayPal's website for the payment process.
Klarna Invoice
Buy now, pay after delivery within 30 days – no interest charged. Klarna Invoice is a safe and easy way to shop. No account or card numbers are needed, and you can make sure your items arrive as expected before you pay for them. This payment method is currently available for residents of Finland. Klarna Invoice offers you the following benefits:

Klarna Account

Bank payment
With online payment, you can pay by bank transfer directly through your bank. All payments are made safely through our partner Paytrail, that will be shown as the payee. This payment method is currently available with: Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, Pop Pankki, S-Pankki, Säästöpankki and Ålandsbanken.
Pricing & value-added tax
The referential retail price is provided by Franckly for those items that are currently available on the market as new. The listing price for each item on the website is provided by the seller. The listing price should be determined according to the original retail price, age, condition, brand and comparable items on the market.
Make a listing
Define the shipping options you want to offer – your buyer pays for shipping. Then set your price. We advise you to round prices up to the nearest whole euro.
- Shipping: The buyer pays for shipping. The shipping charge is calculated based on the package measurements. Kindly confirm the dimensions and weight.
- Shipping quote upon request: The costs are determined by the seller and calculated based on the service and the buyer's location. We won't charge our service fee for this shipment.
- Delivery by seller: The costs are determined by the seller. We won't charge our service fee for this shipment.
Taxable value
If your company is liable to pay value-added tax, you are always responsible for the VAT of sold items. In the listing, quote the product's selling price, including VAT, at 'Define selling price’. At 'VAT percentage', quote the applicable VAT rate (%). Based on this information, Franckly will produce a receipt for the buyer on your behalf, complete with VAT details. This means that you do not have to deliver a separate receipt of the transaction to the buyer, as we do that on your behalf. Together with the account statement, we provide you with a breakdown including detailed information of the sales transaction for the purposes of your accounting.
Service fee
Franckly service fee
We work on a service fee, and we only get paid when you do. Listing an item is completely free! We only charge our service fee for the transactions made. The Franckly service fee is 19 % of the sale price. The service fee covers all transactional costs, customer service and marketing for your listing. Alternately, you can opt for a Finnish Design Shop's eGift Card – what's more, without a service fee. If the item doesn’t sell, we won’t charge you anything.

Payout options
Franckly will hold the money and take care of the payout, once the buyer has safely received the purchased item. Once the buyer has approved the sale, we’ll send the sale price (excluding our service fee) to the seller — the credited amount differs per payout method. The personal data is collected and processed securely by Franckly for the purpose of paying the seller the agreed price.
Settlement flow
- Private seller: We will transfer the money without delay after the buyer has approved the purchase. Your buyer has 24 hours to check the item after receiving it. For security reasons, the seller’s identity must be verified. We have made verification safe and easy — it takes just a few minutes! We use the same method as when authorising card payments. Transactions are secure as your information is not passed onto us and we do not keep payment card information on our records.
- Company: Franckly disburses the payment between 15-20 calendar days after receipt of the payment. Your buyer has the right to return a purchased item within 14 days from the date of purchase and delivery. The withdrawal period is counted from the day when the buyer receives the purchased item. We will transfer the money without delay after the return window has closed.
- Bank account: The payout (excluding our service fee) will be credited to your bank account – using the account details you have provided at Franckly.
- PayPal account: The payout (excluding our service fee) will be credited to your PayPal account – using the account details you have provided at Franckly.
- eGift Card (Finnish Design Shop): The payout will be credited as an eGift Card – what's more, without a service fee!
eGift Card
When selling, an eGift Card can be chosen as the payout method. The credit on the eGift Card can be spent at Finnish Design Shop, the world’s largest online store specialized in Nordic design.
- You'll receive more – the full amount.
- The eGift Card will be delivered via email.
- The eGift Card can be redeemed at Finnish Design Shop
- Simply add the items you wish to purchase in the shopping cart and enter the code printed above in the gift card field at checkout.
- The gift card must be used in a single transaction and is not redeemable for cash.
Receipts
To reduce our carbon footprint, all receipts will be forwarded by email. We've attached the buyers receipt to the confirmation email. The seller will receive his/her receipt in the payment notification email right after the buyer’s approval. Companies will receive receipts without delay Sellers’ Guideafter the return window has closed.

Returns
The right to return depends on whether the seller is a company or a private seller. The buyer only has the right of withdrawal in distance selling, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (1978/38), in cases where the item is purchased from a company.
All freight costs of returning the item are the buyer’s responsibility. After the seller has received the returned item, we will make a refund within 14 days into the bank account or payment card used at the time of purchase.
Refund
The refund will be issued to the same payment method used for the order. The buyer has 24 hours after delivery to check the purchased item. If the item is faulty or damaged, Franckly manages the claim on the buyer’s behalf.
- Returns: Refund for items returned. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Claims: Depending on each case, the carrier has a limited liability if the shipment is lost or damaged.
