Calin sofa bed with castors, white

The Calin sofa bed is part of the Calin collection designed by Pascal Mourgue for Cinna in 1994. 
The relaxed Calin sofa bed features an off-white upholstery, wooden slatted base and aluminium frame with castors. The three-seater Calin sofa transforms into a bed by folding the backrest down. The practical Calin sofa bed is a great choice either for the living room, guest room or study.

The inspiration for the design of the Calin collection came from a large feather pillow with a white pillowcase folded in half against a wall. The pillow-like design of the collection and the comfort it provides has since charmed many generations.

Ligne Roset is a French furniture company with a long and eventful history. Antoine Roset founded the company in 1860 when it began as a wood processing factory. Later, the company began manufacturing walking sticks, wooden umbrellas, and chair frames.

The focus of the family business changed significantly in the 1950s when it began to contract furniture such as tables, chairs, and beds for schools and hospitals. Ligne Roset began to grow rapidly and soon they started a new chapter by entering the domestic market.

At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, Ligne Roset began collaborating more with interior architects and designers to enrich their business operations. One of these designers was Michel Ducaroy. Ligne Roset’s first store was opened in 1973, and it was the same year as Michel Ducaroy’s Togo sofa was launched. Togo series is considered to be probably Ligne Roset’s best-known product to date. Nowadays Ligne Roset designs and manufactures furniture, lighting and textiles.
