H92 table

The Artek H92 table delights with its beautiful design. Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935, the table has an ash elegant thick tabletop with two extension pieces that you can conveniently store under the table. The extension brings the H92 table a whopping 230 cm in length, so you can safely invite family or friends for any occasion.

Alvar Aalto developed the sleeve or the H-leg in 1956. The H-leg was his last invention that was used and adapted for the furniture he designed. Metal sleeves were manufactured in two shapes; the H1L and H2L. They were designed for different leg profiles. The legs of the tables were pushed into the sleeves, which were then firmly screwed into the tabletop. The heavy-duty H-legs were used especially on larger and heavier Artek tables. The National Pensions Institute Head Office building, which was completed in 1956, is knowingly the first building that was decorated with H-legged furniture.
