Woodnotes K chair was designed by Harri Koskinen in 2004. The generous lounge chair has a round swivel base and removable upholstery made of a soil-repellent blend of paper yarn and cotton. The steel parts of the K chair frame are coated with matt chrome finish. The seating comfort of the K chair is completed with the K ottoman, which can be used for extra seating too. The relaxed and subtle look of the K series lounge chair and ottoman works well in both private and public settings.

Designed by Harri Koskinen the K chair was granted the prestigious Interior Innovation Award at Cologne’s International Furniture Fair in 2004. Woodnotes manufactures the K chair also in a slightly wider version and with armrests. The series also includes the K ottoman, which completes collection perfectly.

Woodnotes is Finnish design brand founded in 1987 by textile artist Ritva Puotila and her son Mikko Puotila. The essential idea behind Woodnotes was to create modern design from durable, ecological and beautiful natural material, spun paper yarn. Today, Woodnotes’ collections have expanded from paper yarn carpets to furniture and home accessories, but spun paper yarn products still form the core of the company.
