Moomin mug, Dark yellow

The Moomin mug Dark yellow was in production from 1991 to 1996 and it is also known as The Mug dark yellow, Little My. The ceramic Moomin mugs are great for serving tea, coffee as well as hot chocolate and will cheer up any table setting.

First pieces of Arabia’s Moomin tableware came out already in the 1950s, and the large-scale production began in 1990. All the illustrations draw inspiration from the original drawings by Tove Jansson. The form of the collection comes from Arabia’s timeless, ceramic Teema tableware designed by Kaj Franck.

Moomin Arabia is a collection of Moomin products by Arabia, one of Finland's most renowned brands. The residents of Moominvalley first appeared as ceramic designs in the 1950s when artist Tove Jansson created Moomin-themed dishes and her mother, Signe "Ham" Hammarsten Jansson, crafted ceramic Moomin figures. In the 1990s, Moomin mugs designed by illustrator Tove Slotte quickly became favourites among both children and adults. Since then, Moomin Arabia products have been cherished as delightful everyday items and valuable collectibles worldwide. Today, the collection includes not only dishware but also textiles.
