Pehtoori coffee pot, dark blue

Finel's Pehtoori coffee pot was designed by Antti Nurmesniemi in 1957. The dark blue coffee pot is made of enamelled steel and the handle is black bakelite. The timelessly beautiful design of the Pehtoori coffee pot enriches all kinds of table settings. Pehtoori makes also a charming decor element for the kitchen.

Finel produced the Pehtoori coffee pot until the 1970s. In addition to the one and a half liter Pehtoori, Finel also produced a slightly smaller Pehtoori coffee pot with a capacity of 1 litre. Antti Nurmesniemi's wife Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi was responsible for the colour palette of the coffee pots. Pehtoori coffee pots were available in red, yellow, black, blue, green, brown, orange and white.

Finel was a well-known Finnish trademark under which Wärtsilä Group’s subsidiary company Arabia manufactured various enamel dishes at the Järvenpää enamel factory from the 1950s to the 1970s. The selection included coffee pots, bowls, pots, mugs and light fittings. The designs and decorations of the colourful enamel dishes were designed by renowned Finnish designers such as Antti Nurmesniemi, Kaj Franck and Seppo Mallat, as well as Esteri Tomula and Raija Uosikkinen.
