Seller’s description

The Moomin day mug released on Tove Jansson's birthday gained a lot of attention when it was released on August 9, 2018. The special thing is that the mugs were only sold for one day. The mug's beautiful sunset illustration is originally from an Associated Newspapers brochure from 1955. The illustration depicts, among other things, the island bought by Tove and Lars Jansson in Pelling, near Porvoo. The Moomin characters added to the mug are from Tove Jansson's novel Magical Winter.
