Lunaria 3449 bowl, 15 cm

Tapio Wirkkala's Lunaria bowl. At 15 cm, it's perfect for dips or chocolates at your buffet table. It mimics the structure of ice and, for me, the connection to shapes found in nature was essential in understanding Wirkkala's design.
I was surprised to see the little white lines in picture 3 - are these scratches in the glass? A careful inspection showed that they might be reflections from sharp edges on the underside of the bowl, probably from the mold used in production, and appear only in the photograph.
