Beautiful small A333 lamp by Alvar Aalto also known as the "turnip" due to it's similiarity with the organic shape of the turnip. The lamp has been repainted in the same vibrant red colour used originally by Artek

The lamp is stamped Valaistustyö and model number on the body. 

Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) is a world famous architect and designer. He was well known for designing his own line of furniture and lighting for the numerous buildings that he designed worldwide.
