A Rare Table Lamp by Gunilla Jung Model 2004, Orno 1930s

A rare Gunilla Jung table lamp model 2004 designed in 1936-37 for Orno and exhibited at the 1937 Paris world exposition. Gunilla Jung drafted this lamp at the same time she designed the lighting for the iconic Savoy theatre in Helsinki, making it one of the lamps that paved the way to a timeless trend in brass lighting. Today, over 80 years later, that trend is still strong.

This lamp was in production for a short period of time in the late 1930's.
