Seller’s description

An iconic floor lamp model 9269 designed by Paavo Tynell for Taito in the 1950s. The lamp has been repainted in yellow, as an alternative for the black and white versions that are the most frequent colours. The item is otherwise in complete original condition with functioning electricity. It is stamped Taito and model number 9629.

As with many of Tynell´s other lamps, this one has been nicknamed the `Nun´s Hat` due to it´s resemblance to one.
