A rare and beautiful wall relief featuring a beautifully hand-painted woman, designed by Birger Kaipiainen for Rörstrand and manufactured in Sweden in the 1950s. Kaipiainen spent only 4 years (1954-1958) designing for Rörstrand, a Swedish sister company for the Finnish Arabia Oy were he spent most of his career. This piece is signed "Kaipiainen" & "R, Sweden".
