Seller’s description

A beautiful example of the table lamp model 9224 by Paavo Tynell in brass and leather and manufactured by Taito in the early 1950s. This model is also known as the "horse shoe" due to the horse shoe resembling foot and other features making it resemble Thoroughbreds. In a 1950s edition of the Finland House Lighting catalouge this lamp was nicknamed Thoroughbred. 

The piece is in full original condition with the original lacquer and leather.
