Sintra sofa

Noé Duchaufour Lawrencen suunnittelema Sintra-sohva on muotoiltu niin, että sen ainutlaatuinen eleganssi pääsee oikeuksiinsa kaikista kulmista katsottuna. Ligne Rosetin valmistama sohva esiteltiin ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 2018, ja suunnittelija kertoo, että Sintra-sohvan ideana oli luoda tuote, joka tuo esiin Ligne Roset'n huippuosaamisen verhoilun, mittasuhteiden ja mukavuuden suhteen. Sohva leikittelee klassisella muotokielellä ja sopii erinomaisesti monenlaisiin sisustuksiin.

Ligne Roset is a French furniture company with a long and eventful history. Antoine Roset founded the company in 1860 when it began as a wood processing factory. Later, the company began manufacturing walking sticks, wooden umbrellas, and chair frames.

The focus of the family business changed significantly in the 1950s when it began to contract furniture such as tables, chairs, and beds for schools and hospitals. Ligne Roset began to grow rapidly and soon they started a new chapter by entering the domestic market.

At the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, Ligne Roset began collaborating more with interior architects and designers to enrich their business operations. One of these designers was Michel Ducaroy. Ligne Roset’s first store was opened in 1973, and it was the same year as Michel Ducaroy’s Togo sofa was launched. Togo series is considered to be probably Ligne Roset’s best-known product to date. Nowadays Ligne Roset designs and manufactures furniture, lighting and textiles.
